Seminar “Ambivalence: How to Help Take a Step Forward” for Training Future Specialists

On October 28, 2025, an employee of the THE VETERAN MENTAL HEALTH CENTER OF EXCELLENCE conducted a training seminar for students of the Faculty of Psychology on the topic “Ambivalence: How to Help Take a Step Forward.”

This event is highly important for preparing future specialists, as they will one day be able to support veterans and their families, who often face conflicting emotions — from pride to shame, from hope to despair.

Veterans and their families go through a complex path of recovery and adaptation every day, and psychological support is what helps them take that step forward. The importance of psychologists’ work in this field continues to grow, as every word we say can change someone’s life. That is why we focus on developing highly qualified professionals who are able to empathize, understand, and help.

Our efforts are aimed at contributing to the future of psychological well-being for those who defend our country and for their families.
