The Veteran Mental Health Center of Excellence Presented Its Work at the KNU “United by Science” Marathon

At the KNU “United by Science” Marathon, held on November 17–19, representatives of the Veteran Mental Health Center of Excellence of the Institute of Psychiatry presented the Center’s activities and its strategic priorities.

The Center was established in July 2024 as a joint initiative of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and international partners — the Federation Global Initiative on Psychiatry (FGIP) and the King’s Centre for Military Health Research (KCMHR) at King’s College London.

The mission of the Center is to develop an evidence-based system for training professionals in the field of veterans’ mental health, to expand the clinical infrastructure, and to conduct applied research aimed at implementing modern approaches to supporting veterans and their families.
