Training on an Integrative Approach in Psychology to Optimize Therapy for Veterans

As part of the work of the THE VETERAN MENTAL HEALTH CENTER OF EXCELLENCE, a training session was held on November 4, 2025, titled “Integrative Approach in Psychology: Applying Biochemical Knowledge of the Brain to Optimize Therapy for Veterans, Considering Neurochemical Changes and Psycho-Emotional Characteristics.”

The purpose of the event was to introduce future specialists to modern scientific approaches to understanding biochemical processes in the brain and their impact on the mental health of individuals who have experienced repeated traumatic events related to war and military actions.

Special attention was also given to developing skills in applying integrative methods in therapeutic practice to enhance the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs and help veterans better adapt and restore balance in their psycho-emotional functioning.
